This is a nice TV. Picture quality is excellent, but keep in mind that as with all LCD's a small distortion in signal quality causes plenty of issues. I think that is normal. It is edge-lit, therefore Sony LED HDTV is slim & comparatively light. It's a sleek design. HX700 looks more charming but that is only in the event you are willing to pay a few more hundred dollars for the looks & a few non-essential stuff. issue is that Sony LED HDTV takes some time to power up. In the coursework of that time you cannot use the menu which sometimes causes inconvenience. But nothing serious. Another issue is that sometimes in the event you turn the TV off (-not standby-) then you lose time & date knowledge & next time you turn Sony LED HDTV on you require to reenter that knowledge. I don't know why that is the case, but I think that is the main issue that bothers me.
