Picture quality is superb, however I actually have had a number of problems with garbled/distorted sound & with sound and film (lip movement and voice) not in sync. Sony LED HDTV is going on 2-3 times within the last month, and appears to solely happen when watching streaming video from the net. Cycling the facility resolves the problems. Hopefully Sony is functioning on a patch.....
Main reason for choosing this model was that it'd work into the house on the market. All alternative brands/models would solely permit up to a 37"". whereas I did not assume streaming video was a feature i might use, I watch this quite Dish.
The inbuilt speakers offer sensible sound quality (tone, volume), relative to speaker size, and also the 14' x 18' area size.

I am thus proud of the 40ex620 that we tend to bought this week! image is nice, hookup simple, handles all new and recent ""add-ons"". Sony Store matched the simplest value we tend to found and that we walked out with the TV right then! we tend to even have a meeting for a 1 hr free tutorial at the shop on all the various options that the TV has.
