YOU CANNOT CONNECT WITHOUT SHELLING OUT AN ADDITIONAL 70-80 DOLLARS FOR A WIRELESS ADAPTER!!

Isn't this TV EXPENSIVE ENOUGH!?!

We save and save to get this TV only to find out that it requires further purchases!!!!! That is a **** move on Sony's part. The streaming is clear and quick from Amazon and Netflix. 2011 models have really set a new standard. Lots of features that all work as advertised. . (more).

Ok, here's the thing. Great picture and very Intutive.

I just received this television and wow, I am just unbelievably impressed. I have seen many Edge Lit LED TV's before, and this blows them away. I haven't noticed any of the uneven patterns of lighting and it is unbelievable thin.

Granted, I am upgrading from a 32"" RCA LCD with a 2000:1 contrast ratio, but it's still just a stunning television.

Pros:
Very thin, almost insanely though
Bezel is sharp looking
Great black levels (especially being edge lit)
Matte-ish screen works well in a lot of sunlight
Internet apps (haven't tried yet)

Cons:
No built-in WiFi
Stand & mount could be sturdier

Overall, a hell of a TV. The TV is a very good piece of machinery. Clear picture. You can connect anything to this TV and enjoy it: XBOX, Camera, PC, Memory Cards, DVD Players, etc. The TV is impressive visually, but mediocre at best in the audio department. The bass is lacking. The clarity is acceptable, not impressive. The volume is fine. It gets loud. It is fast and reliable, so far.

BUT . . I lost a ton of respect for SONY because of this purchase.

Additionally, MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE SONY ADAPTER! Any other brand will not work! How is that fair? It is not.

So, know what you are buying here: A good TV with mid-level audio and a lot of features--including a shady scam to get more money out of you to use the wi-fi.

Still, it is a very good TV. Overpriced? Yes. Perfect? No.
